Chocolately: Install Your Developer Tools on Windows

Are you new to Windows programming as a Linux/Mac developer? Maybe you need to clone a repository to Windows that you have been working on in a different environment? You are probably looking for a package manager to install useful tools in a Window environment and apt-get and brew are not available. Maybe we need a text editor like nano or vim? This is where chocolately comes in useful.

Open up a Powershell terminal with Run as Administrator

Install chocolatey:
